One of the most rewarding things about working with the Hitching Lot Farmers’ Market is that I get to experience a little bit of our vendors and their farm.
Recently, we made a trip out to Danner Farms. Mr. Henry Danner is one of the most kind people you will ever meet. Find him in stalls #10 & #12 with his family at the Hitching Lot Farmers’ Market.
We saw the most beautiful peppers! Two healthy and delicious looking varieties of beans! Eggplants, cucumbers, squash, and of course tomatoes!
If you have never grown your own food, I highly recommend visiting with someone who does, because it is an experience you will never forget.
Our farmers are what bring fresh and delicious foods to our tables. They work endlessly to prepare ground, plant, care for, and harvest the produce that they grow. We don’t know what we’d do without our farmers!
