Get to know our farmers!
I had the privilege of visiting Jamison Pastures recently, and I was kindly shown around their farm.
When I drove up to the property, I could tell there would be so many amazing things to see. There’s a greenhouse, a barn, a farm store, and many rows of produce!
Meadow kindly showed me all of the produce currently growing, and told me all about the work that went into the property since they first moved in…and let me tell you, it was HARD work!
Currently they are growing squash, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, onions, blueberries, apples, eggplants, elderberries, herbs, and more!
There were so many things in the works that it is hard NOT to get super excited!
I even got to meet some furry friends along the way!
I encourage everyone to talk with your local farmers and ask them about what they do. You might be surprised at the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to provide fresh produce to the local community. You can truly tell how passionate they are about their work.
